watching Glee Gaga episode
kinda awesome. I'm actually loving it. NO one compares to the fierceness that is Kurt! This will hold me over until I get to see the Gaga live at GM Place in August. Gonna be the shit.
ladies and gentlemen.....
please meet Shitlizard. Few weeks ago dad was in Mexico with the boys staying at buddy's house...toilet just wasn't "right" for a few days....called plumber to check the situation out....they came back into room to see Shitlizard godzilla emerging from lovely pink toilet....why were you down their Shitlizard? Where oh where did you take such a wrong turn to take you to the sewer? Boys freed lizard friend and set him free in the backyard...can't imagine horror of knowing I used lovely pink toilet that this was hiding in....

talk about fish out of water
Today I found myself sitting in a hunting/gun club club house staring at the elk antlers, ducks and mountain sheep heads hanging on the wall. Animal-loving, vegetarian, anti-hunting me could not have felt more out of place. We were there to have fun shooting some targets, which I have never done before. Turns out little old veggie me is a good shot. Don't worry though, I would never, ever go hunting. Not my style...

song for holly
Bon Iver - The Wolves Act I and II
Someday my pain
Someday my pain will mark you
Harness your blame
Harness your blame, walk through
With the wild wolves around you
In the morning, I'll call you
Send it farther on
Solace my game
Solace my game, it stars you
Swing wide your crane
Swing wide your crane
and run me through
And the story's all over
In the morning, I'll call you
can't you find a clue
When your eyes are all
painted Sinatra blue
What might have been lost
Don't bother me
(don't bother me)
What might have been lost
(don't bother me)
What might have been lost
Ah, ah
Someday my pain
Someday my pain, my pain
Someday my pain will mark you
Harness your blame
Harness your blame, walk through
With the wild wolves around you
In the morning, I'll call you
Send it farther on
Solace my game
Solace my game, it stars you
Swing wide your crane
Swing wide your crane

possibly the best female album ever:
Tidal by Fiona Apple. My favorite?
Pale September, I wore the time like a dress that year
The autumn days swung soft around me, like cotton on my skin
But as the embers of the summer lost their breath and disappeared
My heart went cold and only hollow rhythms resounded from within
But then he rose, brilliant as the moon in full
And sank in the burrows of my keep
And all my armour falling down, in a pile at my feet
And my winter giving way to warm, as I'm singing him to sleep
He goes along just as a water lily
Gentle on the surface of his thoughts his body floats
Unweighed down by passion or intensity
Yet unaware of he depth upon which he coasts
And he finds a home in me
For what misfortune sows, he knows my touch will reap
And all my armour failing down, in a pile at my feet
And my winter giving way to warm, as I'm singing him to sleep
All my armour falling down, in a pile at my feet
And my winter giving way to warm, as I'm singing him to sleep
The autumn days swung soft around me, like cotton on my skin
But as the embers of the summer lost their breath and disappeared
My heart went cold and only hollow rhythms resounded from within
But then he rose, brilliant as the moon in full
